Joseph Anthony Biondo

Started playing piano at 5 years old by ear.
Started formal lessons with Natalie Guyer (teacher of Keith Jarrett) during the late seventies. The gas crisis prevented us from affording the travel and cost of lessons. Miss Natali Guyer insisted that I continue lessons at no charge. She felt that there was something there not to be abandoned. Paused formal training for a while until right before high school then studied with Jeanette Katz who prepared me for Fiorello H. LaGuardia (Music & Art High School) with only six months of lessons. I could barely read music but she got me in!
Then came the wedding band circut and that was the end of my brief period of formal training...
